I just give the watch a swift wipe with a gentle cloth to start with. For really stubborn dirt, I use a bit of detergent and water, just cautious not to achieve any in the case and interior. Once it’s free of dirt, we can move on to the fun part.

Not every polish is identical. You need one that’s made for inox, to remove the discoloration and restore the luster.
I’ve used some good inox polish that really works. It’s got no particles that might scratch it. I usually use Brasso polish for this—it provides an excellent shine without damaging the watch.

Since the watch is now clean and bright, let’s get to the shining. I merely applied a small amount of polish a gentle cloth and apply it evenly, in circles.
I get the entire watch shiny, paying detailed focus to the areas that are not as shiny. Within a short time, I use a different cloth to remove the extra polish, and it just shines brightly! It might take some time, but it’s totally justified.
And last but not least, keeping that shine for a long time.
